Sakura & Roxy
[ Oddly enough, Sakura doesn't look scared or angry at this turn of events and really just looks tired, the fight pretty much gone out of him after hearing Akasha's announcement. He leans against one of the walls, placing a palm against it and staring back at it, as though he could divulge what is happening in the other rooms. ]
Sorry. I know you've already been through this shit.
Sorry. I know you've already been through this shit.

[She smiles ruefully and moves over to lean against the wall beside him.] Suppose saying its fine would be pointless, eh?

How can ya not be afraid to die?

I'm just worried about everyone else. I should've warned them better. I didn't think she'd do it again.

[She nudged his side.] It's not like warnin' would have done any good. The rules...are pretty hard and fast.

Right.

I'm not seeing any loopholes to take advantage of.

Last time I tried that, I messed up so badly that both Sol and I lost what made us us almost permanently. We had to beg the Echoes to let us fix it.
There are no loopholes.

This place really makes you pay for friendship sometimes.

You don't need to apologize. I mean, honestly I should think this is Tuesday.
It does. The fuckers.

(GOOD) DECISIONS
Offering: Writing journal. (2)
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
[Words appear on the ground before you in glowing green. “Your sacrifice(s) are to die, by quill or by ink. Make your final peace, then meet your fate.”]
[Of course, if you wait for longer than fifteen minutes, the matter will be taken out of your hands. The oddly metallic pattern of shelves on the wall shift, peel off the paper and lash out — a number of books fly off the shelves and surround the doomed sacrifice. The books, which have pages as weighty as steel, start pressing down on their victim’s extremities. They crush fingers or toes, then hands and feet, more and more of them working their way up the unfortunate victim’s limbs until all that’s left is a torso and a head. It’s an excruciatingly slow process, culminating in the other books fluttering off to be replaced by a final, person-sized one oh-so-slowly pressing their chest and head until they finally expire in a manner befitting a pressed flower.
Not to worry, though! Even if the other partner tries to attack them or pull them off nothing will happen to them. They’re very monogamous books, and only crush on one person at a time--even if their persistence is irresistible.]
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
Poisoning kind of sucks. [Picking up the quill, looking at it thoughtfully.]
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
... are... you going to do it yourself?
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
Hey, I got robbed at my godtiering. Might as well do it myself one of these times.
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
... won't it be faster if it's someone else...
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
[She twirls the quill between her fingers.] You know where the Dorsalis Pedis, Aorta, Femoral, or Carotoid arteries are?
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
Yeah, I know a lot about the body. Understanding physiology helps in training. And Hydra likes medical books.
I won't... mess up.
Re: (GOOD) DECISIONS
I can do it. So unless it'd help you somehow...I can do it.
